Review of Spyderco Sage 2

No other brand of knife pays tribute to legendary knife makers of the past like the Spyderco Sage series. The latest in that great line-up is the Spyderco Sage 2, which pays homage to the Reeve Integral Lock (RIL) invented by Chris Reeve. Titanium is featured prominently in both the design of the knife and the lock, which puts the Sage 2 in some very good company indeed, albeit at a price that is much more affordable than the higher end pieces it is comparable with.

The Unique Blade

The 3-inch long blade of the Sage 2 is made of 6a14V titanium and CPM S30V steel, with the thickness of the blade coming in at a svelte .125 inches.
